This historic loft used to be home to “Cross Keys Tavern." The building was originally constructed in 1804, with additions made in 1890, as a restaurant with lodging. It had been set to be torn down in the 1960's, but was saved as it is one of the oldest and most historic buildings in Downtown Lynchburg. The building was again slated for demolition in the early 1990s when current owners bought and historically renovated it.

“My wife and I were extremely happy with this Airbnb!

The location was great given it’s in the heart of downtown and close to restaurants and other conveniences.

In terms of the loft itself, we couldn’t be happier. It was in pristine condition and had all the amenities we could ask for. It’s spacious and cozy - perfect for a getaway to Lynchburg.

The hosts were wonderful and were quick to communicate with us if we had any questions or feedback.

All in all, we sincerely recommend this to future guests - wonderful experiences!”

“The loft was beautiful, clean, and in an awesome location right downtown near a bunch of good restaurants. Even though it’s a studio loft, the place was super spacious. We’d definitely come back to this one.”
